The first major principal the founders agreed on was that they did not want a corporation that had talking heads at the top and overworked underpaid employees doing all of the leg work. Each of them had come from a self propelled service background and believed in the value of hard work. Because of this, unlike a standard company where shares and voting rights are divided based on ownership each employee and owner has equal say over the decisions made as well as equal share of the profits and bonuses. With Renovo Consulting we have no CEO instead we have task managers, each individual is an expert by their own right in their own field, so each individual oversees a different "task" within our company and all have equal say over the directions and decisions.

Though there are many issues with this model the primary one is that often times the commission amount supersedes the needs of the client. Our business was built with multiple safeguards in place to ensure this industry norm never makes it inside of our doors, first, our staff are not paid commissions they are paid a standard set wage, their ability to put bread on their table is not dependent on closing a sale with a large commission. Second, instead of a straight percentage of commission we have negotiated fair and defined amounts that our vendors pay us. This means that on some jobs we make less than we would if we were strictly commission based and on some we make more, but across the board it is fair and even which completely removes the temptation to sway our clients in a more costly direction. Finally, every client no matter if they are a giant corporation or a single parent family, is assigned their own personal concierge. Our concierges entire job is to look out for and ensure that our clients receive a premium level of care. We do not see ourselves as simply providing services to our clients, we view ourselves as being true partners meaning our clients successes are our successes. Many of our clients have various moving parts from within our organization, with different experts servicing different areas of that clients needs. The concierge has the primary job of coordinating all of these parts and communicating them easily and effectively to the clients, providing a single point of contact handling all of the clients needs.
Since the beginning we have taken a bold, and risky stance on how we make our money and grow our business. Many businesses and firms that service similar areas to us operate with a very closed mouth approach. This means that the commissions structure, the pay back amount and the methods and agreements between the brokers and the firms they sale for is kept a secret. We don't like nor do we believe in that. We value ourselves at what our work is worth and we feel that transparency with our clients is key to building a successful long term relationship. Part of every service we sell from life insurance to webhosting is a copy of our commission structure, allowing our clients to know exactly how much we are making on each service. We believe this is s important because it allows our clients to see our potential payout from each product and for the clients to know that more often than not the product we recommend is not the one that offers us the biggest reward, instead it is always the one that is most suited to the needs of our clients.
In the spirit of true transparency, as mentioned above more than 90% of what we offer is done so with no cost to the client, but there are at times services that incur a cost, generally on the technology side. Web Hosting, Phone Service, Hardware and Software do generally have a cost associated with them. We offer these services at a fair and reasonable rate with prices negotiated directly with the distributors to guarantee a lower cost than buying these items at a big box store, however there are costs, likewise some of the financial planning services such as Last Will's and Final Expense Preparation are offered as one off services for a set fee. Clients who utilize other services from us have access to these services for free but clients only seeking these solutions will incur a minor fee.
The protection of our clients sensitive data is a top priority at Renovo Consulting LLC. We have implemented and follow the same data protection standards as hospitals and doctors must follow with HIPAA and FCC regulations. All lines of communication are handled through encrypted privately owned VPNs and stored behind firewalls that would make many government agencies jealous.
Our entire process for acquiring quotes for services for our customers is done so on a "blind" basis, meaning we utilize metrics that the companies need to make a decision without actually providing sensitive information. The only time our clients information is released to any of our vendors is after a decision to move forward with that specific vendor has been made and the client has authorized the release of information.
